The Perfect 10 Charity was created in memory of Justin Inverso, a Life Guard at Adventure Island that was struck and killed as he cleared all the children from the water slide at the park. All of the funds we collect are use to match donations raised by local charity events. We are all volunteers. 100% of the funds we raise are used to support children in need. We do not have a payroll, phone bill, rent, or any other expenses. Our sole goal is to make a difference in the lives of our children.
On Friday, September 9th, 2011, as he celebrated his 21st birthday, Justin Savers Inversso told some young people he had just met that it was necessary to get right with God, because "you never know when a life-threatening situation will come up" .
Justin 21, of Dade City, Fla., passed away Saturday, September 10, 2011, in Tampa. He was born September 9th, 1990, in Zephyrhills, Fla., to Frank Savers Inversso and Julie Lynn France Inversso and was a lifelong area resident. Justin graduated from Pasco High School in 2009 and was active with the Tampa Project Organization, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Phi Theta Kappa and Intervarsity at the University of South Florida. He was an active member of the Church of Christ at Zephyrhills. His mother described him as the perfect 10 child and this provided use with our name.
