10 for the Teachers
As you know, after school starts our teachers are short on some supplies. Most will spend their own time and money to fill these needs. The Perfect 10 Charity is starting a new program in Pasco County elementary schools that will fill this void. It is called, Shop for the Teachers. After school starts, our teachers will fill out a form requesting the items they need. Your volunteers will shop and pay for the requested items. Then they will deliver them to the school.
Our model is to expand nationwide using service clubs, R.V. Parks, churches, companies, individuals, etc. to adopt a school and fill their requests twice a year, once after school starts and again during the Christmas break. The school sponsor can fill the needs of all the Teachers or get approval for each class to have a sponsor.
At our 1st event we were able to shop for 95 teachers and deliver over $6,000.00 worth of supplies to 6 schools. The response to this event was overwhelming. There is no better time than now for you to make a difference in the lives of our children. To help finance this effort, we are starting a fund raising campaign called
“10 for the Teachers."
We will be asking these groups to promote a personal $10.00 donation that will be use to purchase these supplies.
